Refunds for Paid Tournaments

Challonge offers the option for event and tournaments organizers to have paid tournaments. Currently, tournaments are only payable through Stripe. (See our article on Stripe). Payment for a tournament is done through Stripe on Challonge, but is handled directly by the tournament organizers. Challonge does not handle the money received from a paying participant, it goes directly to the organizer. In order to process a refund, you must contact the tournament organizer.

To contact a tournament organizer;


First, go to the tournament page and select the tournament that you would like to get a refund from
Next, select the name of the tournament organizer underneath "Hosted by"



Then, click on the "Private Message" button



Last, send the private message requesting your refund with your reason to the tournament organizer
