Using a Custom Name in a Tournament

When an account is registered for a tournament, it will use the account's username as the default participant name

Account username is also how tournament organizers find Challonge users.

As a tournament participant, once your account is registered into a tournament a new link will appear above the bracket labelled 'Go to your Settings'. From this page you can edit the name displayed for your account for only this tournament:




As a tournament participant, once your account is registered into a tournament a new link will appear in the center to 'Edit Your Name'. From this page you can edit the name displayed for your account for only this tournament:



Clicking 'Save' will change the name displayed in the bracket.

The tournament will still be linked to the original account, but the name displayed will be different
