Hosting Paid Tournaments

Start accepting fees for registration, the venue, the prize pool, or other types of revenue upon tournament registration through Challonge's paid tournaments feature.


Visit the Settings Tab

Scroll down to the "Registration" section to configure your settings.

In order to help facilitate, manage, and maintain registration fees, Challonge does charge a per transaction service fee of $0.75 for non-Premier users and $0 for Premier users (upgrade here). This Service Fee is applied at checkout, so if you had competitors purchase an entry as well as any merchandise the fee would all still only be a single $0.75 service fee from Challonge upon checkout.

Currently, we enable all payments through each organizer's own, individual Stripe account, which has its own credit card processing fees. According to Stripe's website, it starts at 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction and we encourage all organizers to explore that and sign up directly through Stripe as well.
