# How to Report & Indicate Forfeits by Removing Participants

Various circumstances can cause a player or team to forfeit a tournament match. Luckily, Challonge makes it easy to report that forfeit and displays it accordingly on the actual bracket.

| Find the participant (individual or team) that is forfeiting. In the example below this is A1.

| Under the participants tab, remove A1 from the tournament

| Confirm the removal and that all open matches will be forfeited

| View the bracket to see the participant name has been stricken and the opposing participant automatically advances with no score being reported
