# How to Edit your Community URL

When signing up for a community, there are two options, Pro Membership and Free Membership. With a Pro Membership, you receive a dedicated sub-domain name (e.g. example.challonge.com). With a Free Membership, there are still options to customize your community URL (e.g. challonge.com/communities/example).


| First, click the 'Your Communities' tab on the left and select the community which are looking to edit the URL for

| Next, click on the 'Settings' tab on the left

| After opening the settings page you will be automatically taken to the 'Basic Information' tab

| From here you can change the Permalink for your community, additionally, Pro Communities can edit their community's sub domain. 


Click save and now your community is personalized down to the URL.
