# How to Change Your Display Name on the Bracket

### Display Names are tournament-specific and can be different from your Challonge Username

Changing your Display Name not only adds character, it also helps organizers confirm your identity and makes matchmaking easier for everyone.

| As an organizer, you may ask your participants to change the Display Name with a specific ID or game alias (e.g. PSN, Xbox, Steam, Discord, IGN, forum name etc.).

Start by registering to this tournament.

Click the **Sign up with an alternate name** link and enter your name. Planning to use another Challonge account for this competition? Hit the **Change user** link and you'll be asked to log in again.

You can also change your Display Name or unregister to this tournament at any time by clicking the **"**Go to your settings" button or "Your Settings" tab.
